THE SOUL OF THE WEST

Exploring the Western Circuit, from the Baobabs to Kirindy and the Tsingy is the journey of a lifetime. But the difference between a "tour" and an "unforgettable adventure" is the person leading the way.

My name is Hubert Antoine RAZAFITSILAVINA, but I am known to my friends and guests simply as Hubert.

Beyond being your guide, I am a proud ambassador of  Madagascar.

My life’s work is to promote my homeland, the legendary Avenue of the Baobabs, the wild biodiversity of Kirindy Forest, and the majestic stone peaks of the Tsingy de Bemaraha, as a premier destination for the world to discover.
.

My Story

My story is written in these stones. I was born in the shadow of the Tsingy and grew up with its legends as my bedtime stories. As a child, I learned which rocks hummed in the wind, where the fossa left its tracks after rain, and how to find water in seemingly dry crevices. These ancient landscapes were my first playground and my first teachers.
After university, I faced a choice many make: seek opportunity in the city or return home. For me, there was no choice. I returned to the West not out of obligation, but out of love. I returned with a mission: to share this wonder with the world while protecting its fragile beauty.
This isn’t just my workplace. It’s my heritage, my classroom, and my life’s purpose.

My Vision

To establish the Western Circuit of Madagascar as a world-leading destination for adventure and biodiversity. I envision a future where the Baobabs, Kirindy, and the Tsingy are celebrated globally and protected through authentic, native-led tourism.

My Mission

"My mission is to proudly promote my home, Tsingy of Bemaraha and the Western region,as a world-class destination. From the giants of Baobab Avenue to the predators of Kirindy and the needles of the Tsingy de Bemaraha, I provide safe, immersive, and professional guiding services. I am dedicated to sharing the soul of my homeland while practicing strict conservation that supports local communities and preserves our unique heritage for the world to see."

My Guiding Philosophy

“I don’t just show you rocks, I help you listen to their stories. My tours connect you not just to landscapes, but to the soul of this land.”
